Georgianne L. Ludwig, D.V.M.
Dr. Ludwig is the Hospital Director of Lombard Veterinary Hospital. She is the daughter of Dr. Paul and Mary Jo Arndt, LVH founders. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine, and is a general companion animal veterinarian. She has a special interest in animal welfare issues and served as the Interim Administrator for DuPage County Animal Care and Control (DCACC) in 2005-06. She continues to be involved with animal welfare issues in DuPage County as the Chair of the DCACC Advisory Board. Dr. Ludwg has served on the Illinois Veterinary Licensing and Disciplinary Board since 1998, serving as Chair for over 3 years, and is the Past President of the American Association of Veterinary State Boards. In 2006, Dr. Ludwig received the prestigious AAHA Nestle Purina Petcare Award. She is a life-long resident of Lombard and has deep roots in our community. She owns 3 cats and 2 dogs. She is pictured here with her 12 year old Golden Retriever Scuba.
